Peel Public Health rescinds Section 22 Class Order for workplaces

Brampton - (December 24, 2021) – In response to the evolving situation related to the COVID-19 Omicron (B.1.1.529) variant of concern (VOC), the Chief Medical Officer of Health for Ontario has directed Peel Public Health, along with all other Ontario Public Health Units, to urgently prioritize local public health resources to support vaccination and the management of cases, contacts, and outbreaks in high-risk settings.

Therefore, Peel Public Health is rescinding the section 22 Class Order for Workplaces in Peel dated October 14, 2021 effective immediately. Peel Public Health appreciates the efforts to comply with the previously issued instructions.
