Watermain Replacement and Improvement
Notice of road paving Jasper Crescent, Jerome Crescent, Jubilee Court. Project 20-1340A
The Region of Peel will be repairing the road where it was disturbed by our recent watermain construction.
Schedule
We expect paving activities to take place on Jasper Crescent, Jerome Crescent, and Jubilee Court between October 17, 2022 and October 21, 2022, weather permitting. Regular working hours will be between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday to Friday.
Driveway access
You may not have access to your driveway for a short time as the paving operation crosses your driveway.
Parking
Please do not park on the street from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. when paving is scheduled for your street. Please ensure the road is cleared of vehicles (and any type of materials) at these times. To provide an alternate parking location, we have arranged for a street parking enforcement exemption from the City of Brampton for Jasper Crescent, Jerome Crescent, and Jubilee Court. This exemption is valid until October 28, 2022. Please note that all other parking laws remain in place, including proper clearance from hydrants and stop signs.
Traffic impacts
We will need to reduce traffic to a single lane during paving activities. Work will be phased to minimize traffic disruption in the area. If we must reroute traffic, we will place signs giving directions.
Safety during construction
Construction zones require extra caution to keep everyone safe – pedestrians, cyclists, drivers, and construction workers. When driving, walking, or biking through the construction area, please be aware of your surroundings, watch for construction crews and other road users, slow down, account for delays, and consider other routes if possible.
