Concrete protective lining of the West Trunk Sewer
Upcoming night work August 2021 to March 2022 Erin Mills Parkway. Project #19-2205.
What are we doing?
The Region of Peel has retained Technicore Underground Inc. for lining the West Trunk Sewer along Erin Mills Parkway between Erin Centre Blvd. and Dundas St. W. The majority of the work will take place within the existing trunk sewer, which will be accessed using the existing maintenance holes located at:
- East side of Erin Mills Parkway just north of Eglinton Ave. W,
- Southwest corner of Erin Mills Parkway and Rogers Rd. within the existing Dunn Park, and,
- Northeast corner of Erin Mills Parkway and Dundas St. W.
A deep maintenance hole will also be created within the construction compound located at Erin Mills Parkway and Eglinton Ave. W as part of this contract. All the construction activities will take place within the construction compounds set-up at the above-noted locations.
This work is to provide wastewater services to support development and growth in the Region of Peel. Wastewater comes from flushing toilets, having a shower or washing dishes. Sanitary sewer pipes take wastewater from homes or businesses to a treatment plant.
Noise Bylaw Exemption
The City of Mississauga, under the noise bylaw, is allowing work to be done continuously, 24 hours a day, until March 31, 2022 at the construction compounds listed above. This will allow work to be done faster and meet the project schedule.

The Region of Peel is committed to keep you informed and ensure that the work is carried out with minimum disruption. If there are substantial changes in the project scope or schedule, we will provide you with further updates.
