Watermain replacement and improvement

The Thicket, Project 21-1310 M update July 5, 2023

The Region of Peel will be repairing the road where it was disturbed by our recent watermain construction. We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you for your cooperation while we finish this work.

Schedule

Paving activities will take place on The Thicket during Monday July 10th, 2023.
Regular working hours will be Monday to Friday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Driveway access

Road paving activities will impact vehicular access to all houses on The Thicket. You may not be able to move your car out of your driveway during the morning of July 10. If you will need to use your vehicle during the day of Monday July 10, please move your vehicle to the east side of Enola Avenue or on The Greenway during the evening of Sunday July 9, 2023. A parking exemption has been arranged for these areas. Vehicles parked on the West side of Enola Avenue may receive a ticket.

Parking

Please do not park on The Thicket from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday July 10, 2023. Please ensure the road is cleared of vehicles (and any type of materials) at these times.

To provide an alternate parking location, we have arranged for a street parking enforcement exemption from the City of Mississauga for east side of Enola Ave. and The Greenway. This exemption is valid until July 13th, 2023. Please note that all other parking laws remain in place, including proper clearance from hydrants and stop signs. Vehicles parked on the west side of Enola Avenue may receive a ticket.

Safety during construction

Construction zones require extra caution to keep everyone safe – pedestrians, cyclists, drivers, and construction workers. When driving, walking, or biking through the construction area, please be aware of your surroundings, watch for construction crews and other road users, slow down, account for delays, and consider other routes if possible. Keeping you informed

We will let you know if there are any major changes to the plans.
