Stormwater Servicing Master Plan for Regional Road Infrastructure

Notice of study completion

Background

The Region of Peel has completed a strategic and integrated infrastructure planning initiative to develop a Stormwater Servicing Master Plan for Regional Roads. The process provided the Region with a basis to make sound decisions to service current and future growth that also addressed existing issues and the expected impacts of climate change. The Stormwater Servicing Master Plan provides a strategic, economical, and optimized vision that will guide the Region of Peel’s management of stormwater assets into the 2041 horizon year.

This study was undertaken in accordance with the Master Planning process (Approach #1) as set out in Section A.2.7 of the Municipal Engineer Association (MEA) Class EA (October 2000, as amended in 2007, 2011& 2015). This approach involved the preparation of a Master Plan document at the conclusion of Phase 1 and 2 of the Class EA process.
