Peel Region has only limited resources to rely on, and COVID-19 has significantly impacted our financial health.
Responding to COVID-19 has resulted in less revenue and increased service levels in public health and long-term care homes.
Actions we're taking
As we move forward in delivering essential services, we’re calling on the Province to:
- Engage in discussions about updating municipal revenue sources and tools.
- Work with the federal government to provide infrastructure funding to stimulate Peel’s economic recovery.
