Sanitary sewer replacement and improvement
Notice of lane reduction Fair Birch Drive. Project 18-2300C
The Region of Peel has started working in your neighborhood to replace the aging sanitary sewer just north of Fair Birch Drive, along the Lornewood creek water course. This work is required to maintain and improve existing wastewater services.
At this stage in the project, we need to set up a working compound to facilitate installing a new sewer on Fair Birch Drive using microtunneling technology. This fenced compound will be in place for the duration of the microtunneling work.
Traffic impacts – Temporary lane reduction
A temporary lane reduction will be in place on Fair Birch Drive as shown in the drawing below from September 26, 2022 to July 2023.Please note that this is a sketch and does not depict the complete traffic control set up. Residents driving through the construction area should abide by the posted traffic signs and drive with care
These impacts may cause traffic delays. We ask for your patience and will try to minimize any delays as much as possible.
