Can We Drink That?
Students answer "yes" or "no" to questions related to drinking water by picking a side based on their water knowledge.

Just A Drop in The Bucket
Only a small amount of water is available for human consumption. Learning that water is a limited resource helps students appreciate the need to use water wisely.

The Incredible Journey
Students role play as water droplets as they move through the hydrologic cycle and the 3 states of water.

Where Does "It" Go When You Go?
This activity teaches students all the steps involved in the treatment process and what happens to wastewater after it leaves Peel homes.

Pioneer Water Race
Students will investigate how pioneers got water their families and animals. Through a water carrying race, students will learn and compare historical and modern ways of getting water.

Runoff or Recharge?
Using a series of “living” models, students will investigate how asphalt, grass, and soil affect water runoff.

Enviroscape
Students will learn about non–point source pollution and which environmentally responsible actions they can do daily to keep watersheds clean and healthy.

Waste Jeopardy
Participants will answer trivia questions related to waste information, including sorting, recent statistics, and waste reduction tips.

Watershed Rangers
Presented in partnership with City of Brampton (Stormwater), this hands–on activity demonstrates how stormwater moves through an urban landscape. Students will be encouraged to practice pollution prevention at school and at home, as well as learn about flood prevention and recovery. (May 29, 30, and June 1 only.)

How Much Do We Use?
We use more water flushing our toilets than people in developing countries have access to in a day. Students will learn about their daily water consumption habits and gain an appreciation for their access to clean, safe water.

This interactive activity demonstrates why water is essential to our body’s organs and life systems.

Microplastics
Presented in partnership with the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, this activity teches students about microplastics: what they are, where they come from, and how they impact humans and ecosystems, including aquatic life.

Under Pressure
This activity introduces students to Peel’s extensive tap water network. Students pretend that they’re Peel workers tasked with repairing a broken “watermain” as fast as they can.
